I wanted to read this after the first book because the Matthew story intrigued me. Anne was still the same and the triangle was back, but I enjoyed this one a lot. I’m not sure why I love boarding school/rich kid mysteries, but they always get my attention quickly. Anne puts herself in just as much danger as the first book. She also starts seeing more of the stuff that goes on at the school that bothers her. I don’t want to ruin anything, so I’ll leave it at that. The book is older and that’s pretty obvious when reading.
